After a two-year hiatus due to the Pandemic, JFAO (Junior Farmers Association of Ontario) was officially on the Road Again on March 25-27 in Peterborough!
Starting off with the Annual General Meeting on Friday March 25th, a new executive for the 2022-2023 Junior Farmers Year was elected in. This was followed by an exciting day on Saturday, touring local farms, including the Ontario Water Buffalo Farm, Maizing Acres Inc., Asphodel Sheep Company, as well as local sights in Campbellford. The day finished with the Awards Banquet, highlighting Middlesex JF as Ag Club of the Year and Huron Perth JF as Club of the Year. Sunday morning, members were treated with a guest speaker, Positively Sue.
JFAO is an organization led by youth, for youth, ages 15-29 across the province of Ontario. Looking forward to more in-person events for 2022, March Conference was definitely a great kick-off to a fantastic new year!
