Sing Swing is a provincial event held annually at the end of November. It is hosted by a different club each year and consists of several activities. There is a multitude of standard homemaking events that are held, along with a popular euchre tournament and other card events. Fantastic music is played for all who bring their dancing boots to partake in square dancing, two-stepping, waltz, jive, polka and alternative dance competitions. There is also exciting public speaking, whistling, singing and musical instrument competitions throughout the one day event. Often there are mystery events too! Following the day’s event there is a banquet, awards ceremony and showcase of the top performers. The evening ends with a dance and social time.
